Investor Update — October 2026

Woman shielding eyes from sun
The problem

People love the sun, but it burns them and causes skin cancer.

Being in the shade provides relief, but feels cold below 75–80°F and disconnects you from your environment.

The solution

A material that lets the sun in without the UV.

Sunglass developed a proprietary TPU canopy that's clear like glass, flexible enough to bend into any shape, and lasts 10 years outdoors. It's tinted so that underneath it feels like golden hour even at noon — you're protected from 99% of UV but you can still see the sky, work on your laptop, and enjoy the sun.

It doesn't create separation. It's shade you can see through.

Go-to-market strategy

Commercial sales

Restaurants, cafés, hotels, and resorts swap out their existing umbrellas for one that lasts a decade, provides protective shade, and gives golden-hour light without blocking the view.

ObjectiveEstablish the Sunglass product and brand with profitable sales

B2B creates retail. By focusing on commercial sales first, every installed umbrella becomes a try-before-you-buy showroom. If you're enjoying golden-hour light at noon at your favorite café, you can buy one for your home.

B2B is the primary channel now. Retail follows in 2–3 years, built on a foundation of thousands of people who've already experienced the product, and hundreds of free demo locations.

Long-term expansion

Once the global Sunglass brand is established, expand depth in umbrella and other shade verticals.

  • 7' beach umbrellas
  • Parasols (primarily Asia)
  • Awnings (residential & commercial)
  • Shade sails
  • Pergola covers
  • RV and marine awnings
  • Window roller shades
